Why this method is not prefered

People like to usually sit not stand, when they sit at a round table you're running into focusing issues, unflattering angles, people barely turning for the camera.

Background is not always the best. People standing, Trash cans, poles etc.

Centerpieces can be distracting or cover peoples faces

Sometimes theres no room to backup for some tables and it causes a weird crop.
